Education
he went to Yale, graduating in 1942.[1]
Career
Bromell worked for the CIA under diplomatic cover in the Foreign Service of the United States. He was sent to the Middle East and held posts in Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and Iran.[2][3]
Family
His son was Henry Bromell (1947-2013), a scriptwriter for the propaganda TV-series Homeland,[4] glorifying the CIA's use of torture.[5]
