Stephen Tyrone Colbert is an American establishment comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host. He is best known for hosting the satirical Comedy Central program The Colbert Report from 2005 to 2014 and the CBS talk program The Late Show with Stephen Colbert beginning in September 2015.[1]
Background
In 2021, Stephen Colbert retold how he had a pair of pants once owned by Anastasio Somoza Debayle, the future second-generation US-backed dictator of Nicaragua, because his mother dated him while he lived with the Tuck family and attended La Salle Military Academy.[2]
