Olivier Marleix was a French politician.
Activities
He was known for his criticism of President Emmanuel Macron, particularly regarding the sale of Alstom's energy division to US giant General Electric, thus taking away French energy independence.[1]
Death
Marleix was discovered hanged in an upstairs room in his house on July 7, 2025, in an apparent suicide.[1]
