Michelle Haslem is a British civil servant who was appointed Director General for Homeland Security in 2025. She was previously a Director General at the FCDO from 2019 to 2025.
From 1998, for 25 years, Michelle Haslem was a covert MI6 operative with experience gained from roles in the UK, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.[1]
