In, July 2025, Melania Trump with the threat of a lawsuit forced The Daily Beast'to pull an article by Michael Wolff claiming President Trump met Melania through Jeffrey Epstein. "[Melania] was very involved in this Epstein relationship. There is this model thing, and she’s introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She’s introduced to Trump that way, Epstein knows her well," Wolff alleged in the article. After the story was published, the Daily Beast received a letter from her attorney "challenging the headline and framing of the article". Wolff claimed Melania was "very involved in this Epstein relationship."

In August 2025, Melania Trump also threatened Hunter Biden with a $1 billion lawsuit threat over his "false" and "defamatory" claims linking her to Epstein.

In an unrelated story, Maria Farmer, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell who had reported both to the FBI in 1996 for child pornography, sex trafficking and sexual assault, told how Ivana Trump, President Trump’s ex-wife, frequently accompanied Ghislaine Maxwell when she went to recruit pre-teen girls for Epstein.
