Background
Riley Waggaman writes that "From a modest background in Slovenia, Marko was essentially self-educated, and through voracious reading obtained an encyclopedic knowledge of military history. He was particularly well-versed in matters pertaining to the Soviet Army and the Second World War."[2]
Career
"Before starting Anti-Empire, he worked in a factory as a mechanic, and returned to this blue-collar job when he struggled to pay the bills with reader donations."[2]
