Larry Lee Pressler is an American lawyer and politician from South Dakota who sat in the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 1979, and United States Senate from 1979 to 1997. He attended the 1993 Bilderberg meeting.
Education
Pressler first studied at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in 1964. After receiving a Rhodes scholarship, he began a one-year study at the University of Oxford in 1965, before returning from 1966 to 1968 to complete his military service in the US Army including, at times, also in the Vietnam War, where he was was given the Bronze Star. After completing his military service, Pressler completed a postgraduate law degree at the Law School of Harvard University and graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 1971. At the same time, he graduated from the John F. Kennedy School of Government in 1971.
