The Kenyan deep state is not yet well documented here -- only a few agents of influence have been identified. Of note is that in contrast to nearby Burundi and Tanzania, the government cooperated with the SDS' official narrative about Covid.
History
The country was a UK colony. The 1950s Mau Mau Uprising was an independence movement that was brutally opposed by the UK.
2000s
Godfrey Mwampembwa, a Kenyan political cartoonist, attended the 2004 WEF annual meeting (and later the Halifax International Security Forum/2019).
2010s
Kennedy Odede. In September 2013, an attack was reported on a Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi.
2020s
Raychelle Omamo was put in place as Kenyan Foreign Affairs Minister in 2020.
COVID-19
The country appeared to have worked in Lockstep with the official line on the COVID-19 event. "Kenya also introduced far-reaching “vaccine certificates”, despite a reportedly very high infection rate and a very low vaccination rate."[1] In 2021 Stephen Karanja, a Kenyan doctor, publicly stated that the Covid-19 experimental vaccines "should not be given". He reportedly died a month later from "COVID complications".
2024 Protests
In June 2024 protesters were shot dead and over 100 reported injured after protesting against structural adjustment measures.[2]

The CIA has a covert paramilitary squad known as the Rapid Response Team (RRT). Nominally part of Kenya's paramilitary General Service Unit’s Recce Company', it is effectively run as a CIA surrogate force. The RRT special squad was itself created in 2004, but the CIA's relationship to the Recce Company dates to at least the 1980s. The RRT is guided on tactical operations by the CIA’s paramilitary Special Activities Center.[3]
RRT works with the US intelligence agency on "counter-terrorism", including renditions and assassinations. RRT paramilitaries, who are trained in the [[US] use covert tactics such as disguising themselves as aid workers on operations in Kenya's refugee camps. The RRT sets out to kill or capture targets, largely provided by the CIA and Kenya's National Intelligence Service, but also Britain's MI6.[3]
