Jeffrey Gibb Kennett is a former Australian politician who was Premier of Victoria between 1992 and 1999.
Shielding hand
The Kennett Government made it known through the corporate media that it took an allegedly hard-line on law enforcement and integrity issues, including so-called 'zero-tolerance' for many kinds of crimes. Jeff Kennett himself appeared to be exempt from all this.[1]
