In 1982 the secretive International Monetary Conference was held in Vancouver, Canada.[1]
Overview
The conference was held over 3 days May 24-27 in the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, Canada. Topics of speeches and discussion included Strategic Challenges for Banking, Important Currents in Modern Society: Our Environment, How Does the Public View Banking?, and a Central Bankers Discussion on Issues Raised by the Conference, interspersed with Luncheons, social hours and champagne receptions.[2] Their spouses were invited to a separate program.[3]
