The VIPaedophile phenomenon in Europe has seen what might be a repeated formula tried globally, adapted to suit local conditions.

Cover-up

Lost documents is a standard part of statecraft used as a cover-up strategy, and has been used repeatedly in UK and other European countries.

Control of sentencing

If VIPaedophile prosecutions are pursued, control of the relevant judge is often used to achieve light sentencing. Marc Dutroux for example, for abduction and rape of 5 young girls, was sentenced to 13 years and the Belgian Justice Minister, Melchior Wathelet, released him on parole in April 1992, after just three years.

In the US, Alisha Owen, a victim of the Franklin child prostitution ring was sentenced to 9-15 years for perjury after she testified in court, and served 4½ years.

Legal backstop

Many European legislatures have a single person with the power to stop legal proceedings. In the UK, this position is termed the Director of Public Prosecutions, and deep states who control this one person have a "get out of legal jeopardy free" card which they can play at any time. The record of the DPPs such as Keir Starmer is illustrative of how UK police can be aware of VIPaedophile activity and yet not pursue prosecutions, which would be a nuisance for the deep state.

Exposure

The Belgium/VIPaedophile is one of the most exposed worldwide, with large numbers of people marching in the streets.
