Edward E. Masters was an American diplomat and spook.[1][2]
Activities
During the Indonesian mass killings of 1965–66, Masters actively aided and abetted by systematically supplying lists of members of the Communist Party of Indonesia to the death squads.[3] Officially a diplomat, he was likely member of the CIA station.
As Ambassador, Masters culpability in the horror that overtook East Timor following the Indonesian invasion and occupation was substantial.[4]
