Andrew Alan Escher Auernheimer, known by his pseudonym weev, is a hacker and Internet troll.
Activities
In 2014 Auernheimer, presumably at the behest of Peter Thiel, contacted Mercedes Haefer to get her to take the lead with public relations for the PayPal 14 and end their opposition to the PayPal mafia and to stop their public warnings about Omidyar as The Intercept was getting off the ground.[1][2]
