Le Cercle met in Washington DC from 9-13 November 1977, as detailed in diplomatic cables released in 2009.[1][2]
It was officially described as a presentation by the "Carlo Pesenti Group".[3]
"Ultraconservative politics"
David Rockefeller writes that he was annoyed by the "ultraconservative politics of some participants" of this meeting and subsequently withdrew from Le Cercle.[4]
