Frank W. Jones, Jr. was a CIA spook who was Chief of Station in several countries.
Education
Jones attended the boarding school The Hill School. He graduated from West Point in 1943; and and the National War College in 1966.
Career
He joined the CIA in 1954. His overseas assignments included Austria (1952-54), Munich (1958-1959), Warsaw (1959-1 962), Nicosia (1962-1965), Oslo (1968-1970), and Geneva (1970-1973). In all of his assignments Jones has worked under diplomatic cover as a Department of State official in the U.S. Mission where he was assigned.[1][2]
Jones retired from the CIA in 1975.[3]
